Adriaan Overbeeke
Lead Pastor
Pastor Adriaan and Diana moved to Billings back in 2016. Over the years, they have pastored churches in Canada, Minnesota and Wyoming. Adriaan and Diana are enjoying the empty-nest stage of life, with five adult children who live in several different states. They have four grandchildren (Tobias, Alastair, Lexi and Samuel).
When not involved in ministry, Pastor Adriaan loves to take pictures, hike, hunt and do almost anything outdoors. Diana enjoys a good book on her Kindle, loves crocheting, and working on do-it-yourself projects. She also works part time at a local manufacturing company, and for Love INC - a ministry that mobilizes local churches to care for the needy in our community.
Phil Stombaugh
Youth Ministry Leader
Phil leads our daughter church plant, Central Community Church (CCC), as well as giving leadership to the joint youth ministries of both CCC and FAC. He and his wife Kristin have served overseas in Africa for a number of years, and are highly invested in reaching our community with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They have two adult children (Felicity & Trey), and love to be with people of all ages. Phil is a gifted musician, a great mechanic and has a unique way of relating with teens and adults, that helps people feel the love & acceptance of Christ.
Rita Kunkel

Rita has handled the front office duties of FAC for over 20 years. She loves meeting new people and delights in serving others. Rita also handles all things financial for the church. When Rita is not in the office, she is connecting with her son’s family in South Korea, and cares for her sister. She loves to exercise and run, as well as getting in the garden or looking after her cats. She and her husband Randy are definitely into football… Go Packers!
Vision and Values
Life is a journey—it comes with both challenges and opportunities.
This journey is not meant to be lived alone. We walk through life together.
We believe God is calling us to pursue this Vision together,
as we live out these three Core Values…
Our vision is to invite people to discover help and hope together.
Everyone needs help. Sometimes we are on the receiving end. Other times, we are the ones offering a helping hand. When things are dark and challenging, it is the help of others that raises hope in our hearts. We believe that the search for help and hope is a lifelong journey of discovery that’s best done together. We also believe that this journey will lead you to the Person of Jesus Christ. So we invite you to join us, in discovering help and hope that comes from Christ alone.
Our Core Values
As a church, we aspire to live out three core values that express help and hope to our community.
ACCEPT - we accept you where you are.
We’re glad that you’re here and look forward to discovering together, the help and hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
GROW - We all grow with God’s help.
We want to be intentional in calling on each other to take another step in this journey. What that step is will be as unique as the individuals we are. But the goal is to keep growing deeper in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
SERVE - We make a difference in our community, by sacrificially serving others.
Service is something that is best done together. So we choose to invest back into our city by volunteering with community partner organizations or a host of other service opportunities. What matters is that we embrace a life of service, both within and outside the church.
